Sylvia McNair is an American opera singer and recitalist known for her soprano voice and versatile repertoire. André Previn was a German-American pianist, conductor, and composer who achieved international acclaim for his work in both classical and jazz music. Born in Berlin in 1929, Previn began his musical career as a jazz pianist before transitioning to classical music and conducting. He served as the music director of prestigious orchestras such as the London Symphony Orchestra and the Los Angeles Philharmonic, winning multiple Grammy Awards for his recordings.
