Artist Biography

O.A.R., short for Of a Revolution, is an American rock band formed in 1996 in Rockville, Maryland. The band's original members, Marc Roberge (vocals, guitar), Chris Culos (drums), Richard On (guitar, vocals), Benj Gershman (bass), and Jerry DePizzo (saxophone, guitar), met while attending The Ohio State University and began playing together as a band. Known for their unique blend of rock, reggae, and jam band influences, O.A.R. gained a loyal following through their energetic live performances and extensive touring. Their breakthrough came with the release of their album "In Between Now and Then" in 2003, which featured the hit single "Hey Girl." O.A.R. has since released numerous successful albums, including "Stories of a Stranger," "All Sides," and "The Rockville LP."
