The Goo Goo Dolls are an American rock band formed in Buffalo, New York in 1986. The band consists of vocalist and guitarist John Rzeznik, bassist and vocalist Robby Takac, and drummer George Tutuska (who was later replaced by Mike Malinin). The Goo Goo Dolls rose to fame in the mid-1990s with their hit single "Name" from their fifth studio album, "A Boy Named Goo."
