About Spin Doctors
The Spin Doctors are an American rock band formed in 1988 in New York City. The band consists of lead vocalist Chris Barron, guitarist Eric Schenkman, bassist Mark White, and drummer Aaron Comess. They gained widespread popularity in the early 1990s with their catchy blend of rock, blues, and funk, characterized by Barron's distinctive voice and the band's energetic performances. Their breakthrough came with the release of their debut album, "Pocket Full of Kryptonite," in 1991, which featured hit singles such as "Two Princes" and "Little Miss Can't Be Wrong." These songs became staples of the era, earning the band a significant following and radio airplay. The album eventually achieved multi-platinum status. The Spin Doctors continued to release albums throughout the 1990s and 2000s, including "Turn It Upside Down" and "You've Got to Believe in Something," but never quite reached the same level of commercial success as their debut. Despite this, they have maintained a loyal fan base and continue to tour and perform, showcasing their signature sound and lively stage presence. Their contributions to the rock scene of the early '90s remain influential and memorable.
