Artist Biography

Autopilot Off was a punk rock band formed in Orange County, New York, in the late 1990s. The band consisted of members Chris Hughes (vocals, guitar), Chris Johnson (guitar), Phil Robinson (bass), and Rob Kucharek (drums). Known for their energetic live performances and catchy melodies, Autopilot Off gained popularity in the early 2000s. The band released their debut album, "Make a Sound," in 2004 on the Island Records label. The album featured their hit single "What I Want," which received significant airplay on rock radio stations and MTV. Autopilot Off toured extensively in support of the album, sharing the stage with bands like Green Day, Sum 41, and Good Charlotte. Despite their growing success, Autopilot Off disbanded in 2005, much to the disappointment of their dedicated fan base. Their music continues to be remembered fondly by fans of early 2000s punk rock, and their songs remain popular on streaming platforms and in playlists dedicated to the genre.
