About Az Yet
Az Yet is an American R&B group that emerged in the mid-1990s, known for their smooth harmonies and romantic ballads. Formed in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, the group consists of members Darryl Anthony, J. M. "J" Braxton, and others who were initially part of a larger ensemble before settling into their final lineup. They gained prominence with their self-titled debut album released in 1996, which featured the hit single "Last Night," a collaboration with the legendary Boyz II Men. This track showcased their vocal prowess and quickly climbed the charts, solidifying their place in the R&B genre. Az Yet's sound is characterized by rich harmonies and heartfelt lyrics, appealing to fans of classic soul and contemporary R&B. Following their debut, they released a second album, "Awakening," in 1998, which continued to showcase their melodic style. Though they have not maintained a high profile in the music industry since the late 1990s, Az Yet remains a cherished name among R&B enthusiasts, remembered for their contributions to the genre during a vibrant era of music.
