Artist Biography
H-Town was an American R&B vocal group formed in Houston, Texas, in 1992. The group originally consisted of members Shazam Conner, Dino Conner, and G.I. Jackson. H-Town rose to fame in the 1990s with their hit single "Knockin' Da Boots," which became a chart-topping success and a classic in the R&B genre. Their debut album, "Fever for Da Flavor," released in 1993, was well-received and established H-Town as a prominent group in the R&B scene. The group continued to release music throughout the 1990s and early 2000s, with songs like "Emotions" and "They Like It Slow" showcasing their smooth vocal harmonies and soulful sound. Tragically, in 2003, lead vocalist Keven "Dino" Conner passed away in a car accident, leaving a void in the group.
