About Jimmie's Chicken Shack
Jimmie's Chicken Shack is an American rock band formed in 1994 in Annapolis, Maryland. Known for their unique blend of alternative rock, funk, and reggae influences, the band gained prominence in the late 1990s. The original lineup consisted of lead vocalist and guitarist Jimi Haha, bassist Chris "C.J." Johnson, drummer Chris "Sully" Sullivan, and guitarist Chris "Drew" Drew. Their breakthrough album, "Pushing the Salmanilla Envelope," released in 1997, featured the hit single "High," which received significant airplay on radio stations and contributed to the band's growing popularity. The band's energetic live performances and catchy melodies helped them build a dedicated fanbase. Jimmie's Chicken Shack continued to release albums throughout the late '90s and early 2000s, including "Bring Your Own Stereo" and "Not a Whole Lot of Love."
