Artist Biography
INXS was an Australian rock band formed in Sydney in 1977. The band's original lineup consisted of Michael Hutchence (vocals), Garry Gary Beers (bass), brothers Andrew Farriss (keyboards/guitar) and Jon Farriss (drums), Kirk Pengilly (guitar/saxophone), and Tim Farriss (lead guitar). INXS achieved international success in the 1980s and 1990s with their unique blend of rock, pop, and funk music. The band released a string of hit albums, including "Kick" in 1987, which featured some of their most popular songs like "Need You Tonight" and "New Sensation". INXS was known for their energetic live performances and Hutchence's charismatic stage presence. Tragically, Michael Hutchence passed away in 1997, leading to the eventual disbandment of the group. Despite this loss, INXS's music continues to be celebrated by fans around the world.
