Artist Biography

Something Corporate was an American rock band formed in 1998 in Orange County, California. The band was known for their piano-driven melodies and introspective lyrics, blending elements of alternative rock, punk, and emo music. The founding members included Andrew McMahon (vocals, piano), Josh Partington (guitar), Kevin "Clutch" Page (bass), Brian Ireland (drums), and Reuben Hernandez (drums). Something Corporate gained popularity in the early 2000s with the release of their debut album "Leaving Through the Window" in 2002, which featured hits like "If You C Jordan" and "I Woke Up in a Car." They followed up with "North" in 2003 and "Played in Space: The Best of Something Corporate" in 2010. The band went on hiatus in 2006, and Andrew McMahon pursued a successful solo career under the moniker Jack's Mannequin and later as Andrew McMahon in the Wilderness. Despite their relatively short time together, Something Corporate left a lasting impact on the alternative rock scene with their heartfelt lyrics and energetic performances.
