Artist Biography
Armored Saint is an American heavy metal band that was formed in 1982 in Los Angeles, California. The band was founded by brothers John Bush (vocals) and Joey Vera (bass) along with guitarist Dave Prichard, drummer Gonzo Sandoval, and guitarist Phil Sandoval. Armored Saint quickly gained a following in the local metal scene with their powerful live performances and intricate songwriting. In 1984, Armored Saint released their debut album, "March of the Saint," which received critical acclaim and established the band as a force to be reckoned with in the heavy metal genre. Over the years, the band has released several more albums, including "Delirious Nomad," "Symbol of Salvation," and "La Raza." Armored Saint's music is characterized by their aggressive riffs, melodic vocals, and thought-provoking lyrics that touch on themes such as war, politics, and personal struggles.
