Artist Biography
Cliff Eidelman is an American composer and conductor known for his work in film and classical music. Born in 1964 in Los Angeles, California, Eidelman began studying music at a young age and went on to attend UCLA and the prestigious ASCAP Film Scoring Workshop. He gained recognition for his work on the soundtrack for the film "Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country," becoming the youngest composer to score a Star Trek film at the age of 27. Eidelman has also composed music for other films such as "One True Thing" and "Christopher Columbus: The Discovery," as well as for television and the concert hall. In addition to his film work, he has conducted orchestras around the world, including the Royal Scottish National Orchestra. Throughout his career, Eidelman has been praised for his emotive and evocative musical style, blending classical orchestration with modern influences. His work with the Royal Scottish National Orchestra showcases his talent for conducting and interpreting a wide range of musical genres.
