Artist Biography
Moist is a Canadian alternative rock band formed in Vancouver in 1992. The band consists of David Usher (vocals), Mark Makoway (guitars), Jonathan Gallivan (guitars), Kevin Young (keyboards), Francis Fillion (drums), and Louis Lalancette (bass). Moist gained popularity in the mid-1990s with their debut album "Silver," which included hit singles like "Push" and "Believe Me." Their music is characterized by a blend of alternative rock, electronic elements, and introspective lyrics. Following the success of "Silver," Moist released several more albums, including "Creature" and "Mercedes 5 and Dime." The band went on hiatus in the early 2000s, with members pursuing solo projects, but reunited in 2013 to release their fourth studio album, "Glory Under Dangerous Skies."
