Judy Garland, born Frances Ethel Gumm on June 10, 1922, in Grand Rapids, Minnesota, was an iconic American singer, actress, and vaudevillian. Garland rose to fame in the 1930s with her role as Dorothy in the classic film "The Wizard of Oz" (1939), where she sang the timeless song "Over the Rainbow."
