Artist Biography

Armor For Sleep was an American rock band formed in New Jersey in 2001. The band's lineup consisted of lead vocalist, guitarist, and primary songwriter Ben Jorgensen, lead guitarist PJ DeCicco, bassist Anthony DiIonno, and drummer Nash Breen. Known for their emotional and introspective lyrics, Armor For Sleep gained popularity in the mid-2000s with their unique blend of alternative rock and post-hardcore music. The band released three studio albums during their career: "Dream to Make Believe" (2003), "What to Do When You Are Dead" (2005), and "Smile for Them" (2007). Their second album, "What to Do When You Are Dead," received critical acclaim and is considered a seminal work in the emo and post-hardcore genres. After a successful run in the mid-2000s, Armor For Sleep disbanded in 2009, much to the disappointment of their dedicated fan base.
