Artist Biography
The Kinleys were an American country music duo composed of identical twin sisters Heather and Jennifer Kinley. Raised in Philadelphia, Mississippi, the sisters began performing at a young age and eventually moved to Nashville to pursue a career in country music. They were discovered by a record executive while performing at a songwriter's showcase and soon signed a record deal. In 1997, The Kinleys released their self-titled debut album, which spawned the hit single "Please." The song reached the top of the Billboard Hot Country Singles & Tracks chart, propelling the duo to stardom. They followed up with their sophomore album, "Just Between You and Me," which also produced several successful singles. Throughout their career, The Kinleys were known for their tight harmonies and heartfelt lyrics. Despite achieving moderate success in the country music scene, the duo eventually parted ways to pursue individual projects.
